About Us
Established in June of 2015
We started as a small group of home brewers that held a contest every year. We decided to get organized, but we did not want our new group to be just about brewing. We put an ad in the local paper for a "Beer Club Organizational Meeting.". These twenty five showed up.
Monthly Meetings and Frequent Beer Events
We wrote a constitution and a "Beer of Rights." We liked the name of the Zythological Society, but what region? We were mostly from Brenham, but there were people from other towns as well. Brenham, no. Brazos Valley, no. Let's do Texas...and someone said , "Let's go big!" So the Zythological Society of North America was born.

We meet on the first Tuesday of the month. We try two new beers at each meeting. So far, we have never repeated. We also host beer tastings and beer dinners. Our goal is to educate the public about the responsible enjoyment of beer.
