About the Event

The Zythological Society of North America, Texas Chapter will be  hosting their inaugural Brew-Step 0.1K – Saunter for a Cause, on  Saturday, October 15th  from 1p-4p.  The Brew-Step 0.1K is a whopping 328  feet that will be filled with breweries, rest stops, picture  opportunities, and tons of fun, while raising money for The Blessing Box  Project. 

The Blessing Box Project makes special pillows for  women who have had mastectomies to be able to comfortably use seat belts  while they recover from their surgeries.  Proceeds from this event will  go towards helping supply The Blessing Box Project with supplies and  other costs to make and give out these free pillows. 

Registration  to the event will be $40 and will include an event T-shirt, 0.1K  vehicle sticker, souvenir tasting glass, wrist band to sample beer, and  swag bag. Early registration will guarantee a T-shirt, however the day  of registration will be first come first served on limited t-shirts. The  deadline for early registration will end on October 1st.  You can  register online at www.zythological.com or at  https://brewstep.eventbrite.com . Must be 21 with ID to receive a  wristband.

Breweries participating include St. Arnold Brewing,  Brazos Valley Brewing, Galveston Island Brewing, Pint House Brewing,  Karbach Brewing, Saloon Door Brewery, Hound Song Brewing, NOLA Brewing,  Independence Brewery, Eldersons Brewery, Sierra Nevada Brewery, and more  to come.
